A glossary of Hebrew proper names, which ultimately derives from Jerome‘s work on that subject and may possibly be associated with Bede. An Insular origin has been suggested for the transmission of this material.

rubric: Interpretatio nominum hebreorum incipit: Abessalom This version of the Interpretationes has been studied by Szerwiniack (2003), who argues that it belongs to one of two families of such texts that can be associated with Bede (a manuscript of Irish interest from the other family is Laon BM 26).
